Appealing FinAid

Hi everyone.

I was recently admitted to the University of Chicago and I was very excited about my acceptance. But a few days later I recieved my financial aid package and, lo and behold, it was not nearly enough for me to be able to attend. In fact, the chicago package deemed it neccessary for my parents to contribute almost 10k more than my EFC.

I wish to appeal my financial aid. Is there a form for me to sign? Or do I email/write/call them?

Thanks!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

In the financial aid packet there is a paragraph about how to appeal. I know the fin aid doesn't meet 100% need, but my package was about 18k more than my EFC.
