Does anyone know how to appeal to colleges for financial aid money? Previously, I indicated that I would not need financial aid. As the government would not give me much money, however, I have a sibling in college and a sister thats about to enter college. And the thought of JHU wasn’t even a possibility in my mind. But now, somehow, luckily it is. Does anyone know how to appeal to JHU so I get more money? To be honest, any aid from them would be amazing. It’s my number one choice right now.

Don’t understand- did you run the net price calculator on JHU and are you even eligible for need based aid?
Call JHU. You have missed their application deadlines. See if that matters.
How did you think college would be funded?
You are not appealing your aid decision because you never applied for any aid. Are you eligible for needs based aid? Your sister who is about to enter college is that this Fall or next year? If it’s the latter that would not impact your needs based aid for the 2017-18 term. Call JHU ask them if there are any scholarships that admitted students can apply for and also ask if your intended major has future scholarships for other years. Congratulations on being admitted,
