Appealing for Merit Scholarships?

So I have been awarded full tuition at UPitt and 30k/year at Boston U but if I were to receive a 15k/year+ merit scholarship (I know that very few of these are given out...) then I would go to UMichigan in a heartbeat. Seeing as the latest merit scholarships are sent out is early April, I'm having a feeling that I won't be getting any merit scholarships besides the insubstantial $1k/year one I received in December. However, I was wondering if there was a way that I could appeal for merit scholarships, such as some appeal their rejection or their bad need-based financial aid offer. I realize that if there is such a way to do so, the chances of actually getting something are not only slim but are practically zero but I feel as though I have nothing to lose in trying. Thanks in advance!

You should go for it…nothing to lose as you say…how do your stats compare to those that have received OOS merit?? Good Luck!!
