I’m a prospective Purdue student that lives in Indiana, but goes to high school in Kentucky. Purdue automatically puts those who go to HS out of state, as out of state students. Therefore, I would have to appeal for residency the summer before my freshman year. Has anybody gone through something like this, either at Purdue or really any other state school? How was your success? The only denial I’ve heard about so far was an un-emancipated student who lived in Indiana, but whose parents didn’t.
