Appealing to CSULB?

has anybody appealed to csulb that has worked???

You should definitely appeal, if you really want to go to CSULB. I don’t know how many appeals they accept, but it’s worth a shot. I hope you get in! Good luck!!

thanks! i want to get in sooo bad! im not taking no for an answer!

If it works like the UCs you have to write a letter of appeals. This is what I found on their website.

i heard its really hard to get appealed is this true?

I doubt it

Well I am a transfer student IGETC cert. 60 units 4.00—Denied admissions, ridiculous when I see people with gpa’s less than 3.00 getting in. They said I’ll get a letter why and an offer to attend under my alternate major. Has anyone been accepted under their alternate major? If so what was the process. I’m pretty sure I will appeal but I don’t feel like this is the kind of school I’d want to attend after this.

I had the same question as nicolenicky…
I’m wait listed and I heard that you can write an appeal to Wait List offer…
Has anyone done that?

Did I read that right? a 4.0 GPA. All A’s and you were denied admission. I can’t wait to find out why.

nrappa why would you want to go to CSULB if you have those kind of stats…Why not Berkeley or UCLA???

Jenksstudent: I too am in the process of appealing to CSULB and they informed me that a response of whether they accepted or denied your appeal will come 4-6 weeks after you appeal.

i sent it march 23…and nothing yet…

Jenkstudent…let me know when you received a reply…im curious as to what they say…i just sent my appeal today

Ok…well if you just sent it it takes six weeks it says. I sent mine march 23 andstill nothing. I doubt they even write back.

Did you try e-mailing or calling them?
