Appealing two UCs

Hi, I was wondering if it was ok to appeal to two ucs (cal and ulca) because I heard that those two schools “talk” to each other and I was wondering if it mattered that someone would appeal to two schools (meaning they really werent completely zealous and set on going to a specific one) instead of focusing on one. Anyone have any information or advice? Thanks.

I think it would be OK. After all they allow you to apply to more than one campus. Last year my son appealed to both Cal and UCSD. He got into UCSD but rejected from Cal.

any recommendations for appealing ur case at ucsd?

overworkedmom: what did your son present as new information?

cal is going to be really hard to appeal because of the depth they actually put into choosing the students. not to discourage you of course...just don't be too down if your decision isnt changed :)

My son appealed based on medical reasons. He said that he wanted to bring to their attention a special circumstance that caused a unique personal challenge. He described it and told how it affected him, but because of commitment and his desire to do well he managed to deal w/ it even though he wasn't always at 100%. He also attached supporting documentation. He was only 33 pts from the cutoff so I think they just let him in.

It never hurts to appeal. He also appeal Cal for the same reasons but his appeal was rejected. Actually I thought he had a better case for Cal but I guess Cal didn't think so.

if my dad was diagnosed with some disease, what am i suppse to provide to prove it?
