<p>I submitted my appeal in mid April, for my freshman decision, and still haven't heard back. Right now I have to register for orientation at Riverside, but my Dad says I should wait until I hear back from Irvine, until I do, but I'm afraid if I wait, I will lose both the Orientation date I want, and class priority. Should I wait, or go ahead and register?</p>

<p>I called on Monday and they said they didn’t know when they would release the rest of appeal decisions… It looks like they’re really behind and things are hectic for them. So I don’t think that’s a good sign. Guess the best thing to do is be prepared to go to our backup school and just wait.</p>

<p>UCI is over enrolled for fall 2011. I was admitted as an honors student and appealed for a late SIR and they rejected it. They told me they had too many students except admissions this year and they will not be taking any appeals of any kind. Register at UCR and for some reason if UCI comes through you can cancel and withdraw from UCR. GOOD LUCK!</p>
<p>I don’t think they’re taking anyone. They had to close the waitlist early because they just had no more space. They over accepted.</p>
