Appeals

Does anyone know how appeals work?

You can appeal a deferral or waitlisting. The WORST thing to do would be to do nothing about it. If you are deferred or waitlisted, that doesn't mean you are totally out of the running.

Do WHATEVER you can in your power to show the admissions office that you are sincerely interested. Send new essays, writing samples w/ teacher's comments, photos, artwork, an updated resume, music recordings, etc. Also, it's a good idea to have an interview to signal the admissions office that you seriously want to attend the school.

Best of luck! :)

Does anyone know how many students go through with the appeal process? The reason I ask is becuase I am going to appeal my decision from the University of Florida and they told me about 10-15% of the appeals later get in but they could not tell me the total number of people that appeal.
