Appeals

I found out yesterday that there are about 5,000 students on UC Davis’s waitlist. If that’s the case, would any appeals have to wait for all waitlisted people to get considered first? If that’s the case, appeals seem even harder than usual, since you have to wait for everyone who’s on the waitlist.

Chances of getting admitted through appealing was already slim. Now it just seems hopeless.

I do not believe you have to wait. Just submit your appeal now if the deadline has not already passed.

Idk about the wait. It’s really weird, considering that the people who submit appeals find out whether or not they are accepted on April 30th. And the wait-listers find out May 1st. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

oh…god
5000 people?
This is terribad T_T

where did you find out that there is 5000 people on the wait-list

It’s in the news @Jason37

You hear back from appeals on April 30 :). So I guess in good news is that they’ll at least accept appealers this year  even with the waitlist :). SO they can’t give you an excuse later on and say waitlist took all our spots so no appealers are accepted :D?

If I am correct, today is the deadline to submit all your APPEALS. :P

What have you guys written about in your appeals?

did the status on any of you guys’ ucd portals change after you submitted your appeal? mine hasn’t yet, although the portals for the other uc’s have already.

oh snap :open_mouth: now it says it starts on april 30 for undergrad students :(. So much for april 30 everything is up -.-.

That seriously sucks :(. Least some appealers will hear b4 waitlisters :D?
