<p>I bought my MacBook Pro and got my free iPod and printer in stores, so you should be able to do the same. Please note that BOTH offers are rebate offers, so you'll have to pay the cash upfront (for both the iPod and the printer), submit the rebate, and Apple will send you a check about a week later.</p>
<p>Personally I would buy the stuff now, because I know the printer deal expires today and the free iPod deal expires September 15th. If you've never used a Mac before, I don't think it actually takes that much getting used to, but you might want to familiarize yourself with it anyway.</p>
