<p>if you have a lot of memory, word and office for mac on the intel macs are not too bad - they just take a long time to start. although, there <em>are</em> some bad bugs in word and powerpoint which are really annoying, and definitely won't be fixed until office 2007 for mac comes out next year (which is what I'm waiting for)</p>
<p>So, if you need word or office --> it's definitely usable on mac. If you don't immediately need it, wait for office 2007.</p>
