Applicant Portal Updates

Hey everyone, just a quick question.

Many schools have online applicant portals where you can upload supplemental materials at any time after the application deadline. I recently uploaded two materials, one of them an award that I received about a week ago. Once I upload these materials to the portal, is the admissions committee made aware of these updates, or should I send an email to each school notifiying them that I have uploaded new materials?

Hi! There is no need for emailing them. When you upload the materials, whatever you upload is going to be added to your file, and the admissions officers will know you gave them some updates. There’s no need for an email. :slight_smile:
