Did any applicant receive an e-mail from Office of Student Financial Service?

I did, but it was a month ago...

^^ Thanks. We received one this morning about creating an account to keep track the financial aid. It gave you an ID for that purpose.

I never got one...

oh nvm then...i received one about missing a financial aid form....sorry

Maybe they send out this batch by batch.

hopefully thats true

If you did not apply for financial aid, they may not send you one either.

I did apply for aid. Do you think the emails hint towards admission decisions?

^^ I am not sure. Again, they may just be doing this one by one.

Please check your Bulk or Spam folder and it may be there.

i did check spam...did you receive an email for a jhed before and is this your second email with an ID?... because i received a jhed login ID about a month ago

Ok, so I'm probably reading far too much into this, but Admissions_Daniel hasn't posted on this thread and it seems that if your notification truly meant "nothing" he would be quick to inform you of that. Also, it could just be that he's been swamped with work as we come down into "crunch time" for admissions, and doesn't have time to visit CC. Oh well, either way, best of luck!

Lsingh, I think that it's.

ohhh ok lol...so is this the first login id that jhu has emailed?

professor101: I thought you meant this was your first ID email, but I just reread your comment.....is it the first or second one?

pmalone224: I bet he is busy with admissions stuff.

^^^First. So there is nothing to it, I think.

I received an email from the Office of Student Financial Services on February 5th. The email basically sent me to a site about how to proceed with the financial aid process. Later that day, I received another email giving me information on how to start an ISIS account. Is this what you're referring to?

I highly doubt it. (I'm not an admissions officer, so this isn't official), but in previous years, admissions decisions haven't been finalized until minutes before envelope stuffing begins (from last year: http://hopkins.typepad.com/hopkins_insider/2007/03/decision_day_ha.html)

thanks tanman
