<p>Does anyone know if the UC system releases the number of applicants per school or any statistics BEFORE decisions are made?

<p>Last year there was a news release in late January. University</a> of California - UC Newsroom | Undergraduate applications for fall 2008 reach record level If you scroll down, they have the information for some individual campuses as well. It just stressed me out more because the numbers were so huge - for example, I did not know I would be one of over 55,000 applicants at UCLA. Made me feel pretty insignificant!</p>
<p>Theoretically they will do a similar news release in three or four weeks. Get ready to be stressed.</p>
