does anyone know when the honors college releases decision dates?!

They say they will be emailing decisions in the first week of March. Dean Brady (dean of SHC) said it on another thread earlier. Also, I had an email conversation with the admissions director for SHC where it was confirmed.

Does anyone know when accepted students for Schreyer will get a chance to visit SHC? Are there dates set?

I came across an admissions update for Fall 2012 applicants in case anyone is interested. According to the SHC website, decisions will be posted “online at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8. You will need to log in using your MyPennState ID and password.” ([Admissions Update: Schreyer Honors College](404 Error: Page Not Found - Schreyer Honors College (SHC) at Penn State University))

I’m not sure about accepted student’s visits other than what the website states:
“Receptions for admitted students (March-April)
For students offered admission to the Schreyer Honors College for the upcoming fall, the SHC holds receptions and information sessions from early March to late April, in advance of the May 1 decision deadline. These events are usually held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., but visiting students may also stay overnight in Scholars housing (Atherton/Simmons Halls), attend honors classes, and arrange individual visits with students and faculty. The offer packets mailed to admitted students in February contain detailed information about the spring sessions.” ([Visit the SHC: Schreyer Honors College](404 Error: Page Not Found - Schreyer Honors College (SHC) at Penn State University))

tks… did not see that.
