@sean3s okay thanks. I guess my portal hasn’t updated yet 
Trying to be patient… my portal still doesn’t seem to have updated completely. My “tab” shows “Freshman | youSC” and my portal page still lists only “Application Status” and “Submit Documents”. When clicking “Application Status”, only previous “Information about the Scholarship Process” from January shown in “Current Messages”. Anyone else have portals like this? Seems there ultimately should be an “Admissions Decision” tab that would definitively inform us of status?
@megaserindipity same here, one of my friends also. Can’t call the office of admission because they are closed. I tried using a different browser and clearing my cookies but still nothing.

@jaspft I sent an email to Admissions but expect their response will come after either the portal finally updates or a receive either the hardcopy rejection letter or dare to hope, the white box in tomorrows mail. Either way, it would be good to know

My portal hasn’t updated yet either, but it said “denied freshman” on the tab in the morning. Does that spell rejection?

where does it say freshman?

got this email update from RHP today… (Good luck to all of us who haven’t yet received decisions )
“Dear applicants,
We are not able to upload RHP admission decision letters to the youSC portal, so if you haven’t received your letter in the mail yet and are wondering why you don’t see anything online, we just wanted to let you know that we’ll be sending out all RHP letters over email later today.

Hi, y’all ! I got my acceptance message through the portal on Sunday ! Super excited :)). Anyway, I wanted to maybe make a separate thread for accepted students stats because I know that’s definitely something that’s frustrated me this entire process is the lack of context of the profile of students they accept! Congrats to all who made it <3

Hi @kriany , I happened upon this thread and saw that you were accepted to the RHP for Cinematic Arts. My son is looking to apply to this for the 2018 December deadline. I wanted to see if you are happy with the decision to go to college early and are enjoying the program. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
@SLF1836 Hi, I definitely am happy with the decision! SCA has an amazing faculty and even better resources. I’m personally in MA+P so I can’t speak for more of the film related majors, but there’s really no better place to get an education in entertainment. As for RHP, I think it’s perfect for students who are ready to be independent and learn more on their own terms and interests rather than in a structured environment. For both programs there’s a lot of individualized attention which is a big shift from high school but forms a great support system.
