Does anyone prepare to apply RHP 2019? I will do it. I would like to share the info with you through this thread.

How many letters does USC send out for the RHP program? I heard they send them to top 99% PSAT scorers, so that would be roughly a few thousand I’m guessing. Meanwhile USC only accepts 20. Is it even worth applying?
You can’t win if you don’t play. But it’s up to you. I would only go through it if you are absolutely sure it is something you want to do. It’s a big change from the norm and is not for everybody.
I know several people who had 4.0s and 1600s who were rejected. It’s not easy.
They accept around 30 people and some don’t choose to go so it ends up being around 20 enrolled. And yes there are people with perfect stats who are turned away but people with much lower scores that get in since with USC scores aren’t everything. I suggest applying anyway, and if you don’t end up getting in you still have senior year!

Do you know if all students get interviews? If you don’t receive an interview does that mean you most likely aren’t getting in? My daughter has applied this year and she received an email day before deadline regarding the deans scholarship no longer automatically being awarded to all admits. I was thinking that they may not interview all now since a scholarship isn’t automatically given.
@sonsav Yea i asked them there are no undergraduate admission interviews this year for RHP at least… do you mind if I ask what major/stats your daughter applied to/with. i want to see if my son even has a chance
