I think itā€™s very difficult for us to get merit scholarship because the other freshman applicants have grades from 9-11 while we only have 9-10ā€¦ so it would be risky for USC to give us merit scholarships without looking at our junior year grades

I donā€™t see the portal update of my status. I was interviewed back early January, not feedback so far.

@uscrhpw I donā€™t believe the portal updates unless you are receiving scholarship. You should have gotten an email from USC.

Do you mean I should get an email of status update no matter if I receive a scholarship or not? Or only receiving email when I offered a scholarship

You get an email if you are not receiving a scholarship. Your portal updates if you are receiving a scholarship. I think this is how it worksā€¦ but if you are applying to something with an audition than maybe thatā€™s why you havenā€™t heard yet? @CADREAMIN will be able to answer that better.

No audition for me. I have no portal upadate and no email so far.

Only three RHP kids have been admitted and invited to trustee or presidential scholarship interviews. The other 120+ RHP applicants will need to wait until late-March to hear about admission or other scholarships.

are you saying there are 120+ applicants applying for RHP program for 2019? and 3 kids offered for the scholarship? Good to know the status and the scope. Just curious, how to get this information? Inside information or past history records?

@uscrhpw 120+ people applying as RHP students this year, and three were chosen as finalists for one of the top scholarships.

I work in an office on campus with access to this information.

I got interviewed back early January, I believe, for admission not for scholarship. I was assuming RHP program required interview. Nothing specific, just conversation about what I would be interested in doing if admitted.
