Decisions will be mailed Wednesday, according to the school. And all decisions are always mailed for Haverford.
will there also be an update on the portal on wednesday?
Are decisions also mailed for intl students? Or will they receive an email on Wed?
@jkgreen27 Ours came on 3/24, which I believe was a couple of days after they were mailed (we live in a neighboring state). @marnina I don’t believe the portal is updated with decisions but this could change from year to year. @Danny3895 International students are notified via email initially, then confirmed via postal mail. If Haverford mails letters tomorrow (as poster above states) some of you will have decisions by the end of the week. Good luck to all of you!

my friend got in ED2 and her portal was definitely updated; don’t remember if she got the letter first or the portal first
so will international students be notified today

I believe they opened the portal for ED at 7pm Eastern when decisions were mailed. I would check later (after checking now of course…).
Good luck, and don’t harass the messenger if this proves to be poor guidance.
By when should I be expecting an email (international student here)?
I spoke to someone in admissions who said they won’t update the portal today or tomorrow with admission decisions. She said they are doing that so everyone has the opportunity to receive the news through the mail. Ugh! I hope she’s mistaken but likely not.

I don’t know. I’m sorry, I didn’t ask specifically about that. I’m assuming they mean the admissions portal isn’t updated but perhaps if you are international and receive an email (as it looks like that’s how you’re notified according to earlier postings) there’s a link to a new student portal - just a guess though. why why why not use a portal? now I have to wait for my mail and get anxious whenever I see the mailman for the next few days…
My daughter was accepted ED to Haverford (now class of 2018). She was neither a recruited athlete nor a legacy. In addition to her strong transcript and application, she also demonstrated a lot of interest in the school by visiting multiple times. (11th grade tour, 2 pop ins at the admissions office…one to arrange interview, another because her dad hadn’t yet seen the school) and lastly for the interview itself. We live within driving distance…
Mailman just arrived and nothing from Haverford. The portal also not showing anything new. Has anyone received anything from Haverford so far? Was it shipped via USPS, Fedex or UPS?
Most likely USPS. Since they were just mailed yesterday, I expect that only folks in the immediate tri-state area (PA/NJ/DE) might receive them today. The initial form of notification is intended to be via mail (or email if international).
@akin67 they weren’t mailed until yesterday afternoon. I would expect very few folks if any to get something today.
We are less than 1 1/2 hrs away. We got our Richmond decision the next day and Richmond is 7 hrs away.
