In the academic history section, do we enter non-academic courses such as health, gym and Teacher's aide or do we just leave them out? Also, my school(OOS) has a Calculus 3 class that is weighted the same as an AP class but doesn't have an official AP distinction. Should I mark it as an AP course or a "not honors" course? Finally, my school uses a 1-100 grading system and reports the numerical grades on the transcript but also provides a conversion chart on the transcript. Should I enter the numerical grades or the converted letter grades?

Non-academic courses should go into the Activities & Awards section under “Coursework Other Than A-G.”

For OOS, only AP courses are weighted, everything else is NH.

Enter the numerical grades.

How important is it to enter non-academic courses?
I’ve already submitted my application and did not add these. Is this a problem and is there a way to go back and add this?

Would I still put non-academic courses in the activities section if I received numerical grades in them and they appear on my transcript? Also, the instructions for that section say to put it in if it was meaningful to me. Health and Gym were not exactly meaningful, would I still put them there? Finally, I am taking an EdX course online in solid state chemistry, would it be okay if I entered that in the non a-g coursework? Thanks.

@ravis51, yes; don’t put in health and gym if you don’t want to; yes.

@northeast22, most UCs won’t accept changes to the Activities & Awards section.
