Application and fee

So, I was just perusing the websites and applications for several of the programs that interest my MT daughter and was shocked to see that the application fee for BoCo is $105! Whoa! Just had to tell someone about my shock and awe at seeing this fee.

Sorry if that was sticker shock for you - I know there have been some changes since my D was doing the audition circuit, but I'd say that was pretty average -- some places, you pay the regular application fee for the university, then an additional audition fee to the department - 4 years ago, I think the highest we paid was around $150. (Another reason why, in addition to travel accommodations, having a huge list of schools gets pretty expensive, pretty quickly.)

Sticker shock, indeed. But I see what you mean about having the application and audition fees add up. Even so, BoCo is in stark contrast to a place like Otterbein, where (from what I could ascertain) a student can apply online for no fee at all.

Get ready for the actual TUITION bills!!!! Application fees are a walk in the park!
