Thank you for your interest in Seton Hall University!

At Seton Hall we give over $75 million dollars a year in grants and scholarships to our students and over 96 percent of our students receive a grant or scholarship directly from Seton Hall. The large majority of our scholarships do not require a special application; rather you are automatically considered at the point of admission based on your academic performance.

Incoming freshmen who have excelled academically are automatically considered for our University Scholarship at the time of application. This scholarship is based on your academic achievement in high school including your grade point average, performance on standardized tests and other factors. Generally, the higher the academic profile, the higher the scholarship. This scholarship is renewable and can only be applied to tuition. In order to remain eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Additionally, we offer a Catholic High School Achievement award. This is a competitive scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen currently enrolled in a Catholic high school. This $2,000 award is renewable for three additional years for a total award of $8,000 as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. There is no application required for this scholarship; students are automatically considered for this award based on the strength of their application. The University will award up to 10 awards annually. Your application for admission must be received by January 5.
