My high school transcript, counselor report, and teacher evaluation are all still marked "not received," yet they were sent literally months ago (September-October). Anyone else have this problem?

I called the admissions office; they basically evaded my question and told me to keep waiting. (Kinda snappy: "Do you know how many applications we're going through??")

I think they are focusing more on Early Decision 2 applicants at the moment. I submitted
my common app. and the vassar supplement on Dec 31. My school forms were sent in the last week of December (by express mail). Vassar on-line application checklist showed that my application is complete on Jan 8th.

By the way, I do feel that Vassar admission staff talk as if they are very stressed out. I called them 2-3 times and I remember once I had to say, "Are you listening?" Lol. But I guess they get tired of receiving so many phone calls and e-mail inquiries.

Hey guys... did anyone who requested an interview for RD hear back about that yet? I submitted my app in mid-december, and I thought they would say something about it after the holidays but they haven't.
I guess they're really backlogged/trying to get through ED stuff first.... it took a while for all my checklist stuff to say "received" also.
I really think an interview would boost my chances though. Think it would be appropriate to contact them about scheduling one or should I just wait and see if they contact me?

I haven't heard about an interview, either, and I submitted it in late December. I'm curious, though -- what makes you think an interview would boost your chances so much? They're information and optional (I think).

Z, to answer your question, you're right, they are informational and optional. Perhaps I'm just being a bit paranoid. I recently e-mailed admissions about it, so hopefully I'll get one, but if not I suppose its not the end of the world. I was just kind of freaking out earlier haha. Can't get rid of those post-app jitters...

Maybe you should contact admissions about your app status? I'm sure they've received it and just haven't updated it yet

Yea I think emailing would be a good idea. I got my PIN on time for Vassar, but I had to email Colby admissions to get my PIN a month after I submitted my supplement.
