did anyone recieve anything yet? I have recieved NOTHING whatsoever... how the heck am i supposed to know if they got everything?

this has been posted before...but here it is again.

Georgetown does not give out confirmation to your Part II application. You can e-mail them or call if you REALLY don't think that you sent everything in. Otherwise, if everything is complete they will not notify you. I'm sure if something was missing, they would have notified you already.

I got an email telling me that everything has been recieved

those are conflicting statements...

Well, I received an email confirming receipt of my Part II. Jennqtf4 probably shouldn't have made such an absolute statement.

However, since RD apps went up and Georgetown uses a grossly inefficient paper system, give them time.

I hope the admission office does not find it annoying, if I call them or email them about my status. Or should I wait a little more.

They will DEFINITELY let u know if they DON'T have everything, so i wouldn't worry.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about not getting an email confirmation.

...well I emailed the office of admissions to ask for confirmation with PART II of my application and this is the reply I received:

" We do not send notification of a receipt of any of the rest of your
application besides Part I. What we do is that if you are missing
something after the deadline, an admissions counselor would contact you
directly to tell you what you needed to turn in. "

the email i received several days ago:

* We are pleased to acknowledge receipt of your Personal Data Form, beginning your application for admission for Fall 2007. At the close of this letter you will find a verification of application materials that reflects the information that you have provided. Please check this information carefully, and reply promptly to this e-mail with any corrections that need to be made. If all of the information is correct, it is not necessary to reply to this message.

Selection to college will be one of the most important decisions you will ever face. We recognize the importance of this decision and will take great care in the process of deciding each candidate's admission. You will note that a number of supporting documents, both academic credentials and personal evaluations, are requested. Every effort will be made to evaluate each candidate as carefully as possible based on the information provided.

We would also like to call your attention to the interview conducted by an Alumni Admissions Program representative near your home or school. All candidates located within a committee area will automatically receive information about such an interview, and it will be very important to your application to complete this interview as soon as possible. You will receive more information about your assigned interviewer within the next few weeks; however, should you encounter difficulties in completing this interview, please contact the Alumni Committee Chairman for your area, whose name is listed at the bottom of this e-mail.

If we have not received your $65.00 application fee, we will proceed with processing your application at this time. However, final review of your application cannot take place until the fee has been received. If you have requested a waiver of fee due to financial circumstances, you will hear separately from our office.

Please respond to this email if you have any corrections to your application information. We look forward to learning more about your accomplishments in the weeks ahead.

Well, maybe they only did this for EA, but I got the following confirmation for Part II. It was, however, three weeks after the deadline and I'm sure RD will take longer.

*November 22, 2006
