Application Confirmation

Should i just call the undergrad admissions office and make sure that they got all my early app stuff....or do they let me know?

thanks.

they send you a card - don't call - admissions offices are so busy this time of year.

For Early Decision applicants:
As you can imagine, it’s a busy time in the Admissions Office as we process application materials. Because of the volume of records being handled, we request that you hold off contacting our office to see if your records have been received. You will be mailed an acknowledgment postcard after your application is received. This indicates your application file has been opened (not necessarily that it is complete). After we have processed the majority of received materials for ED applications, we will contact students whose applications remain incomplete. Those students will be given an opportunity to provide us with any missing items before we complete the evaluation of their applications. Rest assured that application files are checked carefully for completeness.

If you are DESPERATE, you may call the Admissions Office at 410-516-8171, but please make sure you only call after it has been at least three weeks from the submission of your application.

FOR REGULAR DECISION APPLICANTS:
Simply put, do not check on the status of your application right now. Our priority is ED applications. After December 15, we will focus on processing RD applications. Once again, you will receive a postcard when your application is processed and our office will contact students with incomplete files. If you must call, then you may call (410) 516-8171 after February 15 to check on your application.
