This log-on just starting working for me, but I'm confused. The page online says both "Your University of Chicago Application remains incomplete..." and also below that says "Application Complete! ...no materials are missing." If incomplete, we have to get materials there by Feb. 20, but our school is now closed for break. Anyone else get a similar confusing message?

Even my account has the same message. But I received an email sometime back saying that my application was complete

same as ^. I think we're fine.

Yah... I got confused as well... my application status page says that, too. Haha.

Yah I did get an email confirming that my application was complete.

Chicago is by far the university that processes my credentials most effectively.

The worst credential processors are Princeton (lost my SAT scores and 2 teacher recommendations - submitted online), Penn (lost EVERYTHING), Columbia (lost counselor report - submitted online, and transcript).

the latest info on the U of C website:

"If you received an e-mail telling you that your application is not yet complete, log in to your college admissions account to see what is missing. We must receive the missing materials by February 20, 2009. Refer to the e-mail for instructions, or see below.

If you received an e-mail stating that your application is complete, then you do not need to check your application credentials.

If you log in and check your application credentials and it says that you are both incomplete and complete, trust the large orange letters that say your application is complete.

The credentials checking site will close on February 20.

If any of the following credentials are missing from your application, please email the documents by the end of the day on Friday, February 20 to recommendations@uchicago.edu or fax the documents to 773-702-8599 (domestic fax) or 773-702-4704 (international fax):
