<p>What is the deadline to apply to MIT. Is it 1/1@11:59pm or 12/59@11:59pm?</p>

<p>Matt's latest post on MIT's website says you can apply on or before 1/1, so the deadline is 1/1 @ 11:59.</p>

<p>If it helps, when I was applying EA, I called the MIT admissions office with the same question, and was told 11/1 11:59 EST was the deadline. I imagine it would be the same for regular.</p>
