<p>Hi, this might seem like a silly question. But I'm silly...</p>
<p>If a college states that the deadline is/by Jan 1st, does that mean </p>
<p>A) you have until Jan 1st 23:59 to submit the application
B) you have until Dec 31st 23:59 to submit the application </p>
<p>This is driving me crazy. Please let me know. Thanks!</p>

<p>It would be in your best interest to be finished well before this deadline instead of dancing on it as there will be an overload of students trying to submit applications and you don't want to be the person that the system crashes on. It is better to be safe than sorry.</p>
