<p>Can I submit an application on 1/1 (that's the deadline), or do I have to submit by the end of 12/31? On common app, it says the deadline is 1/1.</p>

<p>You can submit it on 11:59 pm (Of the school’s timezone) at the due date stated. Might want to go 24 hours earlier, just to be safe though.</p>
