<p>On the common app it tells me that my essay has to be AT LEAST 250 words, so I was wondering how many words my essay should have</p>

<p>I dont want to make it too short or too long so wut would be the ideal limit?</p>

<p>Also, if you were a college administrator what types of essay would you like and hate to read?</p>

<p>Last random question: would it look stupid if i ask my teacher to write me a recommendation letter that I can send to 14 schools? </p>

<p>please dont say it's dumb to apply to 14 schools. i have a set list of schools that I talked to my parents about and they approved it.</p>

<p>Some ppl say the essay should be around 500 words. Others say it can be around 500-700.</p>

<p>It wouldn’t look stupid if you ask for recommendations to 14 school.</p>
