My son is finishing up his application essays - title, or no title?
My son did titles on all of his essays for TAMU.
I didn’t put a title, but I didn’t know if it was required. You should probably follow @trish02 advice, better safe than sorry.
It is not required, it is an option. Neither of mine did. Just make sure you comply to the word counts, that does matter.
AGmomx2, I haven’t seen any word count limits for the essays. Do you know where I might find those?
I guess it has now changed to a length request of 1 -1 1/2 pages (use to be a character count).
There is still a character count in Apply Texas for TAMU. Can’t remember what it was because my son submitted his in July but there was one.
It isn’t a character count, but rather a line count with a maximum of 120 lines per essay. You might also want to put it into notepad first to make sure your formatting isn’t messed up when submitting it Apply Texas.
I’m pretty sure the word count is between 500 and 750 (or something along those lines). It should say in ApplyTexas if your read very carefully.
