The Pitt website says “We’ll waive your $55 admissions application fee provided you: Apply online. Complete the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) as part of the online application OR submit your high school transcript.” However, when I was applying online, I did not get a fee waiver for the application. Is there some way I can get an application fee refund?
I’ve also already been accepted to Pitt, so would I still be able to get the refund?
@blazinamazin2023, did you visit Pitt between June 15 and Aug 31?

We know that once you visit Pitt, you are going to love it here. We’ll waive your $55 admissions application fee provided you:
Apply online
Complete the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) as part of the online application OR submit your high school transcript. We encourage you to complete the SRAR rather than sending a transcript to improve application processing time.
Submit your official SAT and/or ACT score report(s) or arrange to have them sent from the appropriate testing agencies.
Visit the Pittsburgh campus between June 15 and August 31.
@J2H239 Yep! I visited over the summer in July.
So, show the record of your visit to Pitt AO, you should get your $55…
@J2H239 Thank you so much for your help, and have a great day!
@blazinamazin2023, You should have been emailed the fee waiver code. If it was lost, you can call our Visitor Center to request it. They will check to see when you visited and give you the code: 412-624-7717.
Best,
A Pitt Admissions Staffer
