Indiana has a program called 21st century scholars, and since i am enrolled in this program, i am eligible for application fee waivers to public indiana colleges (im applying to IU Bloomington and Purdue). At the end of the online applications, it says "fee waived - pending official documentation". How do I send documentation for this?
My school guidance counselor has been no help. I went to him today, and he told me to print off the counselor's page and he would fill it out and note that I'm a 21st century scholar. However, these applications do not have counselor pages. I told him that, and he repeatedly told me that they do; but i can't find them if they do exist.

Ask him just to write a letter. If you have documentation showing your enrollment in the program, perhaps you can provide that to him so he can attach it to the letter.

Meanwhile, the “counselor’s page” he’s referring to is likely the letter of recommendation that each school would ordinarily request from your school guidance counselor. Look for the forms provided by the school for letters of recommendation.

I would suggest documenting the fee waiver separately, however, if he’s willing. It might not get seen if it’s buried in the middle of his letter of recommendation.

Attached, is the listing of colleges that participate in the 21st century scholars program. I would recommend your or your GC contact the director in charge of the program as to how to proceed regarding the fee waiver.
