Hi everyone,
I recently applied to some colleges and on my Common Application I indicated that I am requesting a fee waiver. My counselor confirmed through her Common Application account my eligibility. I have just begun to log into the Application Status portals for these colleges and see that my fee waiver is pending.
Is there anything else I have to submit to colleges or is the Common Application Fee Waiver and my counselor’s confirmation sufficient? Should I just wait while the waiver is pending? I know some schools have some specifics such as Yale says that it will contact you if there are further questions while Columbia requires documentation. For schools generally, is what I have done enough? Please let me know what you think and if you have had experience with this!
Thank you so much in advance for all of your help!
Submit your application. Your counselor will need to approve your fee waiver from the common app his of her end.
They will click why you are eligible for a fee waiver.
If you have not done so, log into your college board account because if you took the SAT/ SAT II subject test with a fee waiver, you will have 4 fee waivers from the college board.
