Application Fee?!

<p>So I just submitted my application about 45 minutes ago and I accidentally closed the screen where it says you can pay the application fee online here. And now I can't get back to that screen nor do I know where to pay the fee and here's the best part, the deadline is tomorrow. What do I do?!</p>

<p>I checked my application status and it says:
"We have received your application for admission.
We thank you for your interest and are currently processing your submission.
Your Rutgers Status screen will be available after the next weeknight.
If you did not pay the application fee, you will be able to do so from
Your Rutgers Status screen when it becomes available."</p>

<p>Next weeknight?! The deadline is tomorrow! Will I still be eligible for scholarships and the benefits of the priority deadline if I pay my fee after the deadline? I called their information office but they're really busy with a butt loads of other calls and the message was that
"If your call is related to the online application fee, note that students who submitted their application over the Thanksgiving break, your application will be process over the next 24-48 hours, please check your status later in the evening or tomorrow and you will be able to pay online....."</p>

<p>Thing is, I didn't submit my application over Thanksgiving break, I submitted it 45 minutes ago! What do I do?!</p>

but i’m pretty sure that since your application is already in, that you made it for the Dec 1st deadline.

<p>I am trying to call them right now and I still can’t get to anyone. I’ve tried all three numbers and the Camden and Newark ones, I don’t think are open yet and the New Brunswick one is kind of ****ing me off. I don’t know what to do because I have to go to school in like 15 minutes. Ahhhh.</p>

<p>In the mean time, send them a quick email asking if you still make the deadline even though you didn’t pay your application fee right away?</p>

<p>If it’s anything like the other colleges, if the app is in before the deadline, you’re set.</p>

<p>No, it specifically said on the website that the application fee needs to be submitted by Dec. 1st in order to make the priority deadline and I called them this morning while I was at school with my counselor, and I talked to someone and she said that the only way I could make the deadline was to send a check POSTMARKED BY today, Dec. 1st. So as soon as I got out of school, I immediately went to the post office and told the lady to postmark my envelope for today. So I’m good.

<p>sorry i’m getting back a little late, but my friend who was having the same issue, actually the rutgers status thing came up for him within about 2 hours (around 11:30pm) and he was able to do his online payment!
but i’m glad you were able to work things out!</p>

<p>what about if you submitted it at around 1 am? I still can’t even pay the fee online. I’m freaking out!</p>

Does that mean next week?</p>

<p>No, I looked it up. It actually means “any night of a weekday” So it’s not next week. It’s the next night.</p>
