Application fees?

So, I want to apply to 6 schools but was looking at the application fees and when I added the together it was $360-smething. That's a lot of money especially since the fee to take the ssat is already $116. I really don't know what to do because my family can't afford that now and yes I am hoping to get full financial aid which is why I'm applying to a lot of schools, but more schools means more fees.
I'm hoping that schools have application fee waivers and want to send an email to the admissions office about it but decided to ask you guys first just in case it's a stupid question that everyone knows the answer to D: So, have any of you ever gotten or heard of people getting application fee waivers? Thanks :D

I got fee waivers for all threes schools I applied tOo and including ssat. Just talk to the financial aid office helps if you have a hook

That’s a sigh of relief  sadly I don’t really have a hook but I’ll try anyways. Also, what schools did you apply to? and did you have a hook?

I was a athletic recruit as I was being scouted out by some colleges, and wanted them to see me. I guess that makes it a hook? I applied and was accepted to exeter, Andover, and choate. And chose exetet

I think it’s about $100-$150 a school if you account for everything (application fees, SSAT, gas, lunches, etc). My family also can’t afford to pay for a lot of applications. The deal is that my family will pay for 6 applications, and I have to pay for any more beyond that. Stipends are available on certain parts of the application, and fairly easy to get. I got a stipend to take the SSAT last year.
