When does the application for those of us that will “attend” penn in fall 2007 come out? This summer or when in the fall?</p>

<p>No idea, but I've already started writing some possible essays, that way I'll have time to make them perfect.</p>

<p>i am pretty sure that penn is starting to use a common app beginning this fall (if somebody could verify this with me, i would be a very happy kid)
... the common app is already available in print
(some college emailed me their viewbook & the common app) but not online.. so just wait until some college email you the common app or request it from some college</p>

<p>i liked filling out their non-common app. i think it was a better holistic view of the applicant than the common app ever can be. but i just hated common app.</p>

<p>The common app is used by a bunch of universities.</p>
<p>The Penn App also has a lot more specific questions, such as "name a professor that you'd like to study with/do research with and why". do you think that they'll have a supplement that'll make us answer these questions anyway?</p>
<p>and i LOVE their page 217 question. i'm def. doing that even if we have to use common app.</p>
