First of all, I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place... I barley post here so I'm not 100% sure if this is correct

Anyways, here are the two questions I have:

1) For the schools that do not participate is college board's score choice, will this be a breaking factor on my app? My first SAT sitting I earned a 1740 (560 cr/560 m/620 w) second sitting 1750 (520 cr/570 m/ 660 w) and third sitting 1960 (630 cr/630 m/700 w). I am planning on only sending the third sitting to schools that allow that but how much will it hurt me if schools require me to send in the other previous scores?

2) How strong is this senior year schedule? Most likely I will be taking: english 12, psychology, economics, trig/precalc, conceptual physics, AP euro, ethical issues, practical law, creative writing, 20th century history

Thank you so much in advance!!

I don’t think the SATs will pose a problem. How strong your schedule is depends on the options you have available at your school. How does yours look compared to the top students in your class?

Before I answer those questions, I need to know what schools you are applying to.

Even schools that do not do score choice probably superscore so they will be looking at your best numbers anyway. Strength of schedule is dependent of what else is available to take. It looks good in that there are mostly academic subjects (english, math, science) but if there are other APs available that you aren’t taking it won’t be strongest possible. Also depends of how selective the schools are that you might consider.

Thank you all for the responses!! My course rigor is a bit lower than the top of my class (not as many APs, and also my math/science are “lower” levels… not AP sciences or calculus classes) My math/science are the “on grade level” track if that makes sense? BUT I go to a top100 public school in the country that is college prep. My school doesn’t weight gpa but I have a 3.4 on 4.0 scale and very very good extracurriculars and leadership. Do you know how I stand for schools like BU, Northeastern, Delaware, Syracuse, Elon, UMiami, Towson?

Edit*** list of schools changed: BU, Northeastern, Delaware, American, UMD College Park, Syracuse, Drexel, SUNY Albany honors

they will look at your highest scores.

thank you! any info on my chances at these schools (especially BU and northeastern)?
