Are we allowed to make any changes to our application after it was submitted?
I selected my major as economics (because that is my current major at my school) & i did not know that economics was a limited access program.

Is there any way i can make changes to that? Should i call admissions and find out?

Just call admissions. The major is limited access, but not until you apply as an actual student after fulfilling the requirements to apply. I don’t think it matters at this point. It just shows your interest.

Where are you applying? Did you list Econ as your intended major for every school? What is your real intended major and have you completed the lower division requirements for that major or will they be completed before summer? If you are in the process of completing the lower division requirements for your real intended major is this depicted in your intended course schedule?

Unfortunately, this could be a very big problem but it can be fixed. You need to address this problem immediately and accurately. Please email me through college confidential if you do not wish to post your answers my questions publicly.

It is not a problem if you are applying as a FTIC freshman (even if dual enrolled.) It is a manageable problem if you are applying as a transfer. If a transfer, call admissions and speak with a transfer admission counselor.

This thread is a year old, just noting for future reference.
