Application Help

It appears that FSU uses the S.S.A.R to self-report grades. I have a few questions:
- Do I put AP classes as AP or Honors. At my school AP classes are weighted using the Honors scale but I can only put it as one or the other on the website.
- What do I put "accel" classes as? Again this type of coursework is weighted on an Accelerated Scale at my school and are listed as accel coursework.
- Do I submit electives? (Fashion, Macro, Gym credits or not)
- "College prep" At my school all classes that are weighted using the regular scale are considered "college prep" Does FSU have a different implication for this? There are 2 options to list them as "college prep" vs "regular"

Lastly, I submitted my ACT scores yesterday, do you think they'll get there by the 15th?

Thanks for all insight! I haven't had to self-reported grades, I just send a transcript through Parchment.

Bump

You should report all grades exactly as they are listed on your transcript. Do not add or remove any weight. You will use the Course Level field on the SSAR to indicate the type of course (e.g., honors, AP, dual enrollment, etc.).

The SSAR entry process is organized by academic subject areas (English, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science/History, and World Language). There is also an “Other” category for you to enter all other AICE, AP, IB, and dual enrollment classes and their corresponding grades that are not associated with the 5 academic subject areas. We only want you to report all classes taken and grades earned in these areas. If you have classes in other areas, e.g., band or P.E., you will not list these classes in SSAR.

By the way, the SSAR is new this year for FSU -
