Application HELP??

My D is typing her application and is at the Courses taken in grades 9-12 section. She is obviously going INTO grade 12, so does she include those classes in the total number taken for example, English would be 3 if only grades 9-11 or 4 if including grade 12. Since they ask for the courses she will be taking both first and second semester of senior year in that same section of the application, it seems weird to include them in the first part, but without them included, it could look lilke you haven't taken enough courses. Sorry if this is a stupid question. thanks

Include the courses taken during the senior in the calculations. Your daughter will (hopefully) end up taking the courses listed so they should count. Plus, if she does get admitted, it won't really matter. Michigan will eventually see the grades that she received during her senior year as they ask for a final transcript, which they want sent after her senior year is complete.

Yes, she should absolutely list the classes that she will be taking her senior year. Don't worry about having to confirm them because Michigan will request a copy of her transcript after she has graduated from HS. Also be sure to list Clubs and Extra-Curriculars that she will be doing her senior year. Hope this helps, best of luck to your daughter.
