<p>i want to go for business...and im filling out the application. i get to major, and put in business and get the message "UConn's business and technology major can only be started and completed at the University's Greater Hartford, Stamford, Torrington and Waterbury campuses. Please select one of these campuses on your application for admission." does this mean that there is more than one uconn in a way? i was under the impression it was just one campus....</p>
<p>if this is the case is it the same school/programs at a different location?</p>
<p>i dont think any of them have housing, so you would probably wont want to go to one unless you can find an appartment. i do know the one in stamford is right downtown and the hartford one is outside the city. they are 2 year schools then you transfer to storrs for junior/senior year, so yes its all one school with several campuses</p>
<p>As far as I know, at the main campus in Storrs, you can be admitted to the College of Business, but there is not a "major" in business available there. Most students are accepted into the Business College as Undecided, and declare a major (Accounting, Info. Tech., marketing, etc) after the first two years. Storrs is the only campus with housing. Some students transfer to Hartford or Stamford after their second year if they really want a Major in Business.</p>
