My MyStatus page updated with the "in review" notice. I was wondering how long after I have received this notification until I receive my major decision. I'm in state and my stats are on my profile.

I received this update this morning, too. I’m hoping it’s not very long!

Ditto. My son’s account says this as of this morning. He is in-state and was automatically admitted in September. He is waiting to see if he got into Environmental Science geography track which was his first choice. Biology is his second choice. 2160 on his last SAT attempt.

Okay it seems this is only for CNS applicants, all of my friends applying to CS or Biology have this. Hopefully thats good a thing.

Not just CNS. My son applied for Cockrell and his status just changed back to “in review” too. He was auto admitted back in Sept (applied Aug 4)

Same here - my son also applied for Cockrell & status just changed to “in review” this morning. He was auto admitted in October right after he applied.

I think it is changed to review, because yesterday (Dec 1) was officially last day to submit applications.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, but also I think all of the in-review are auto admits.

@DogShelter, it’s not all auto admits who are “in review”. My son is a review candidate (7.3% rank) and his status has been “in review” since about a week after submitting his application (first week of August). Seems to be just a standard status. As an auto admit, you will hopefully hear soon! Good luck!

It’s not just for automatic admits…my daughter’s application says that and while her SAT is very high she’s not an automatic admit. My guess is that it’s because the application deadline has passed. I’d love it if it meant more, though!

I was automatically admitted earlier and now I’m review too. Doing Neursocience major
