I applied for Chapman's Film program and on webadvisor it's says that the application is incomplete for two months. It says that it has not yet received a few items, which is strange because I turned them in along with the rest of my application in November. What's going on? People are already getting acceptance letters, but my application is still incomplete. ***?

I am assuming you have applied for EA? Have you contacted the Admissions office to make sure everything really is turned in? I dont know, alot of kids at my school up here in Seattle have been having a hard time with SAT scores. For whatever reason, SAT or ACT scores may not make it to the school sometimes. Also, it could be that your transcripts did not make it either. I don't think this has anything to do with majors that you are applying for, usually the first thing that Chapman does is post on Webadvisor if your file is complete. I would contact them immediately, maybe you can get some answers from them! :)

On WebAdvisor, click on "My Documents" under the "Communications" tab. It will tell you what you're missing.

Application incomplete could mean that they haven't made a decision or it can mean that there are specific missed items.

With my son's case, they couldn't find a set of transcripts. He called, they found them and attached them to the right student file.

He was sent an admissions letter a few weeks later.

You should follow up over the phone to make sure.
