I am a high school junior right now
I applied several colleges this year... just to give a shot
But because my counselor did not send mid year report &official transcript on time my applications are considered incomplete or "unable to view"
So when I apply these colleges again in my senior year,
Do I have to check the "have applied previously " box in my application?
Does anyone know whether having applied this college before will affect my future admission?
PS. I emailed all the admission offices of these colleges but haven't heard back from them

Are you in a position to graduate early if accepted to a college this year? If not, why did you apply? College admissions officers are reading thousands of applications - they don’t want to waste time on yours if you aren’t really ready to attend? Did your counselor feel you were ready, with strong stats? Did you waste the money paying the application fees, sending SAT scores? Did you file the FAFSA in case you did get in and need aid?

YES i did plan to graduate early if i am accepted. I did not file the FAFSA though…
so will i be considered as previously applied applicant next year if the admission offier has withdrawn my application?

i would say no to claiming you applied before because that seems to mean that you got an answer from the college. If it was incomplete then I doubt that counts.

You’d have to ask the individual admissions offices about this.
