Application Materials mailed to physical address?

Hello, I have received my account information a while ago, but none of my teacher and counselor recs have yet to show up. I mailed everything to the physical address, instead of the PO Box. Will I ahve to re-send them or should I just wait?

Thanks.

Don’t worry, I sent my application materials to their physical address as well and they received them.
Did you write your student ID on your papers? Maybe that’s what slowed them down?

Yeah, I didn’t.

They haven’t received them still yet. I think I’ll just go around and collect everything on Tuesday if they don’t show up Monday.

I believe that they aren’t posting whether or not application materials have been received for RD candidates until February 10, in which case you have nothing to worry about.

In any case, you still have until the deadline for the SAT scores which is about mid Feb because the January SAT results come out on the 11th.

Actually Yales website and the Eli account page has been posting receivals for those since January 29th, for RD applicants. My documents seem to have been lost too.

^ True, sorry. I applied EA and I haven’t checked my application status since mid-December, when it said “Feb. 10”

Even if they do lose it (they lost mine during the SCEA round lol), it’s not too big a deal. Just give ‘em a call after Feb 10th if they haven’t updated your status by then, and see if they’re in the mood to receive more documents (they had me wait a couple more days after Nov 15 before sending mine). Explain the situation clearly (or have your counselor do it), and they probably won’t penalize you, especially since the teacher recs and whatnot are out of most students’ hands.

Good Luck!

Oh, and I was deferred btw lol.

I emailed my regional adcom, and he told me to have my school (AKA me run around to the different people, get the stuff, and do it myself) fax the documents to his attention as soon as I can so my application is complete.
