Does Swarthmore notify applicants if they have (or have not) received all of their admission materials? I don't see a portal or anything like that on their website.

Thanks.

I wonder the same thing, oregonianmom.
My child sent out applications early and has received confirmation either by snail mail or email from the other colleges except Swarthmore.

I have also emailed their Financial Office to ask a question and has not received an answer. This was over 3 weeks ago. I am a bit disappointed at the lack of communication from Swarthmore.
I hope this is not an indication of how they do business in the future.

There will be a password protected private web portal for applicants to check the status of their applications, but I doubt that it is set up this early. It’s still three weeks before the early decision deadline. If they are missing something when your folder is ready to go out for reading, they’ll contact you.

If you are concerned, you can always have your applicant call and check.

On the left side of the page are links to numberous FAQs about financial aid at Swarthmore. There’s even a link to the Financial Aid Handbook for Swarthmore families that has extremely detailed information, including the names and phone numbers of all the staff members in the Financial Aid Office and who to contact with which types of questions:
