So basically, I sent in my application on December 6th to meet the scholarship deadline. I sent in all my test scores, transcripts, letters of rec, ect. on or before December 11th. I checked Gateway, but found out that I could not log-in. I figured that since other people couldn't log-in then it wasn't a big deal because I knew I sent in everything on time. Turns out that last week I found on the letter from USC confirming that they received my Part I Online Application that there was a different USC ID number than the one on all my other stickers/letters/USC things. I tried that number on Gateway and, lo and behold, it worked. Under the document section I saw that only my Part I Application and transcript were listed. Last week I sent an e-mail explaining my situation and that there were probably two different files for my name. Today I received a letter stating that I'm missing a bunch of stuff and that this is the last letter they will send me regarding missing components from my application. My mom calls USC (because I am at school and don't yet know about this letter) and they tell her that they will merge my two files.

So, in short, my question is since they only now have my complete application, is there still any chance for me to be considered for a scholarship? I really want to go to USC, but I'm afraid of putting a financial burden on my family.

I also applied to CNTV for Interactive Media. I was wondering if, since my regular application files were screwed up, that maybe my application there was also missing the transcript and test scores that they were suppose to get from my regular application? Their interactive media program seems like the perfect fit for me but I understand that getting into USC CNTV is extremely difficult, and now with this whole issue….. :( Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
