application problem

i filled out part one, but when I printed it on the pdf format, I saw a slight problem.
My email address has an underscore in it, and it didn't show up on that pdf format. Do adcoms print these forms out and see them like that pdf format? I mean, it's not a huge deal, but I just don't want that to hinder my decision notification come December.

Another question, i saw that I had to mail a copy of my Green Card. Can I mail that with the rest of my transcripts and recs instead of mailing it with my part one? I want to submit my part one online. I'll of course put my name, birthdate etc to distinguish myself.

what i did was i submitted part one online, then mailed a copy of my green card right after I submitted part 1. Just make sure they have it on file in reasonable time.

okay thanks!! Did you submit it separately from your transcripts and stuff or together?

umm what's this green card? Is it only for international students?

yeah it was separate since my school takes care of sending the transcripts, and they have nothing to do with my green card in the first place.

Green card is the permanent residence card for permanent residents, not international students (thank god... or I never would have gotten in).

i had the same problem
luckily happened to have another e-mail address to use

"umm what's this green card? Is it only for international students?"

LOL

Yea that's mad funny superdrive, i'm dying laughing. Man you're awesome.

Where on the application does it say I need a green card?

If you're a US citizen, you don't need a green card. And if you're a non-US citizen without a green card, that's fine, you'll just be considered in the international pool rather than the domestic pool.
