Okay, so we submit the Common Application + Supplement. Check. We submit the Application fee. Check. We tell our counselors to assign our school forms to our application. Check.

What about sending in transcripts/test scores? Is it that once we submit the common application, the college starts a file and any info that we send becomes added to that file? Is there some other magical thing that we must do?

Is there something I'm missing? Please advise! Thanks!

Transcripts should be sent by your school counselors. As for test scores, you need to go either to actstudent.org and/or collegeboard.com to send the SAT or ACT or SATII scores to your specific colleges. (It’s $10 per school per score)

I realize that. My question is, just by submitting the application, colleges should be able to create a file and know where those things are supposed go to right? (into my file)

Yes, that is correct. They will also email or contact you some other way if you are missing anything or they need more information.
